Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Thursday 9th September 2021 aged 89 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Maureen. Loved father and father-in-law of Gary and Margaret, Anne and Bruce Robertson, Murray and Catherine, Ian (deceased) and Helen. Cherished Popa to his 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Jim and Chris, Brian (deceased) and Val Allister, Graeme (deceased) and Faye Allister.
Due to Covid -19 restrictions Rae’s family have celebrated his life and have laid him to rest privately.

Deepest sympathy on the loss of your Dad, Rae. We knew Rae and Maureen though rifle shooting - they were a lovely couple. I remember your Mum sewing quilts with your Dad's blue shirts when he retired! We also had Jason boarding with us in Smart Road - a great lad to have around. He then went on to live in Clemow Road. Trust your families and keeping safe and well.
