Cousin Patrick passed away suddenly at work in Tauranga. His tīpuna were there to receive him, and transition him to a place of no suffering and pain.
Beloved son of Herbert Henry and Libya Moengaroa Fairlie (nee Moeke)
Loved brother of the late Archie and Chrissy, Golan and Lisa, Sheryl, Timothy and Katrina, Herbert Fairlie, Hinepau Fairlie Tari. Loved uncle and koro to all his neices, nephews and mokopuna.
Loved mokopuna of Patrick (Te Whanau a Ruataupare/Ngati Porou) and Emily (Nowi) Te Aotukia Fairlie (nee Manihera) (Ngati Wheke/Ngai Tahu). Also of Kamureti (Ngati Pukeko/Ngati Porou) and Merania Moeke (nee Waaka) (Ngāti Pukeko/Ngai Tuhoe/Ngati Porou). Loved nephew, cousin and friend to many)
Patariki will return from Tauranga to Gateways today. He will lie in state in his whare tipuna, Pukeko at Poroporo Marae, arriving at 7pm eta. His funeral is scheduled for Saturday 9th of October at 10am, followed by burial at Opihiwhanaungakore Urupa.
