Passed away on Tuesday 12 October, 2021 at home, Summerset Falls Village, Warkworth, aged 82.
Loved wife of the late Ernie Oaks, and previously Vern Taylor.
Much loved mother of Greg and Mark Taylor and daughter-in-law Rika; and loved sister of Sally and brother-in-law Peter Kelly. Loved grandmother of Sean and Alex.
Special thanks to the Haematology Team at North Shore Hospital and Harbour Hospice for their wonderful care.
A private cremation has been held.
A memorial service was held at the Warkworth Anglican Christ Church, 43 Percy Street, Warkworth on Monday 10th January 2022 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers donations appreciated for the Warkworth/Wellsford Harbour Hospice.

To Greg, Mark, Sally and families Words can't describe how sorry we are for your loss. Claire was a very good friend and we shared many happy times together both in Kaitaia and since. We were privileged to call her our friend and will remember her always. Janice McGregor-Dawson and family.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of Claire. She was a remarkable woman & a great friend to mum (Janice McGregor-Dawson) & our family for nearly 50 years.(Initially in Kaitaia through to present day) Claire was always positive with a great sense of humor & Outlook on life. I will really miss the visits with Mum to see her in Warkworth on our trips up North. My sincerest condolences to Greg & Mark & families.
