Peacefully on the 15th October 2021 at Waikato Hospital in her 97th year. Loved sister of Ken, Graham, Alf, Betty (deceased), John and Richard. Adored mother of Diane Gerring (deceased), John Munro (deceased) and Sue Prescott. Loved mother-in-law of Brian, Karenne and Paul. Dear friend of Wayne. Much loved Nana of 7 grandchildren, super gran to 13 great grand children and 1 great great grandson. Special thanks to Beattie Home for the love and care of mum over the years. Dear Sue Paul Ryan Sarah Lani and family. What a wonderful and happy life Vera had with you all. I’m going back over 30 years of our friendship and Vera was a huge part of our wonderful whangamata holidays. Skipbo comes to mind with gales of laughter and a fight to the finish with a few choice words thrown in to the victor. Hours and hours of around the table playing for the winning glory. And not to forget Vera staying up most of new year in case Goldie really was going to swim around the buoy in his wine fueled state. We went to bed but Vera stayed the distance. Sue you have been the most wonderful daughter any mother in The entire world would hanker for. Love and my deepest sympathy to you all
Supergran you will be missed forever. Losing you is one of the hardest things to ever have to image. Rest easy as you will be missed forever. Love you to the moon and back again xoxo
