Sorry to hear of heathers passing. MY sympathy to all the family. Heather was 2 years ahead of me at school but went to school with her younger brother and sisters. She was an amazing person. I was talking to Heather Bayliss in the countdown car park a few months ago to hear that Heather was not well. And Heather Bayliss was going out to spend time with Heather Fendall every day. I knew the barr family as going to school with them. My sympathy to the barr family. Rest in peace Heather.
Heather I'm so glad we picked up our friendship again after many years of doing our own thing. you have a beautiful family & it was evident they were your world, but being such a caring lady, generously sharing time, & it became so precious, is what I will remember you most for. Love to Heathers family Heather & Bruce Boyd
Dear Shirley,Trevor & all of your family,my sincerest & heartfelt sympathy in your sad loss of Heather.May lovely memories of her be a comfort to you in the days to come. Maureen Green♡
Aunty Heather is the most kind and most thoughtful Aunty, she always worried about everyone else more than herself, even tho she has been unwell, she would always message me and ask how I was, from the simplest things to “How my dog is” “How my day is going at work” we had such a special and unique relationship which I will always treasure. Aunty Heather was so supportive of my racing, She would message me pretty much every weekend to wish me luck and check on how the racing had gone. She put the pressure on a few times. saying “you better win for me” When I had the pink ribbon put on my car I knew how much this meant for Heather to be part of my passion. She was such an inspiration to me, her determination to fight breast cancer, adamant she was going to fight it and beat it, I learnt so much from her, about being determined, to fight for the best life – a true inspiration. She has helped me have a different outlook on life and look at life in such a more positive way and make sure that I make the most of everyday. I was very lucky to be a part of a trip to Queenstown. I Remember Heather being so determined to get on the Milford Sound flight with us all no matter what the obstacles. She was a true trooper, even after a busy day doing the milford sound flight and cursing up the river and most of us feeling pretty tired afterwards she was already looking forward to dinner and the icebar. At dinner Heather ordered this massive chicken kebab which came on this metal frame hanging down it looked bigger than her! Her eyes lit up. She was so excited and I was impressed by how much she ate. We will all treasure the special times with her on that holiday! I do have one debt that I was not able to settle with Aunty Heather, as I never had her around for dinner at my new house as she was never well enough. So I will make sure that in order to repay her for this by making the most out of life and celebrating the small things. Heather would want us to celebrate her life, think about the good times and make the most out of every opportunity. What Aunty Heather taught me on her journey will have an impact on the rest of my life. She is going to stay with me and on my car and be with me for all my races on my dashboard, racing in your memory Aunty Heather and living my dream x Love Bexs
