It’s been such a pleasure knowing Nan, even though it was only a few short years. We met her through getting to know her grandson Merv, who was living at Tokomaro Bay, & sadly passed away. We visited Nan on many occasions , between our trips back & forward from Australia. She told many stories, with lots of laughs. She visited us at our big red bus. Also she went against her family’s concern, by taking Mike for a drive around the block TWICE ... saying “I can still drive”. Lol.. She was well in her 90s then too. Such a great lady.
