Our dear little Ray peacefully slipped away on Tuesday 26 October 2021, aged 92 years.
Cherished father and father-in-law of John & Rob, Michelle & Frank, Joanne, Tineka & Cam, Amanda, Daniel & Charlotte. Loved Grandad of Luke, Hannah, Jakeb, Dillan, Regan, Jackson, Isla, Madison, Dexter, Sinead, Harper & Lakyn.

A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth, on Saturday 30 October 2021 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.
Please be aware, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the service will be limited to 100 people.
For those who cannot attend Ray's service will be live-streamed via his tribute page.

Am sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I met Ray as a client when he had the fish and chip shop. He was a neat guy to talk with and I valued knowing him.My thoughts are with the family
i would just like say how sorry to see rhat Ray has passed. i am barrie roebuck son and remember ray well when dad and him worked at the bus depot together. i spoke to ray briefly on the phone a few weeks back as he was taking pictures at dads funeral many years ago i thought he may still have them . Funny how time goes by so quickly. My son callan is with matt who has a direct connection with you guys which is also uncanny. im sorry i didnt know you all take care and much love from chris barrie riebucks son
John & Rob - Michelle & Frank & children Luke and Hannah Dear Ray - What a great life he had. First met 60 yrs.ago. He could put his hand to anything.. Worked hard for his family - NP Council - 🍓 Fish and Chip Shop St. Aubyn St. Great parties in Pembroke Street both families had their first homes. Fabulous days were had by all.When we were young us young ladies would catch the bus to town. Ray would always look after us. Was a gentleman The photo of Ray is fabulous. We will remember Ray always with a smile.. Love to your brother and sisters John and Michelle. Always Bryan and Jill Roebuck

Ray was a member of ASCOT@Te Maru for 3 years.He was our little Ray of sunshine.Always so positive and full of encouragement to others. Loved playing euchre and both staff and members enjoyed his sense of humour.
