To Emily and Family and Ian and Family I want to convey my sincere sympathy to you all on your loss of a loved family member. I always enjoyed my time when I home helped for Geneva coming out giving John a hand with his house chores every week. He had great humour and genuiness . I have since retired and had meant to catch up but my Mum has been very ill for several months. It was a happy time helping John.
Sincerest sympathy to all the Baylis Family. Sorry we could not be there to say goodbye to John in peson but did watch his service live streamed. Great tribute to him. Bev (nee Putt) and Andy Davy
He may not have been biological family though he will always be Uncle John with glasses on.
As we send our love to John's family we are remembering the happy times in the past. Memories of holidays at Grannie and Grandad Marshall's and also at Mania with Aunty Agnes and Uncle Arthur. We also remember John's beautiful plum duffs (probably Grannie's recipe). Another link in our strong family lost but will never be forgotten. We are thinking of you all as you say farewell to John today. With love and sympathy from Marshall and Jenny Harkerss
