My first memories of Verna was when I was a very young girl her parents with mine were all friends and were often having get-to-gethers always a great social time for all. Verna played Netball with my sisters Netball was an very important part of their lives they all had such fun. I always remember how kind Verna was she was just so lovely. In the later years I enjoyed talking to Verna about those days her memory was amazing. Verna absolutely was a truly special lady. I would like to express my condolences with my husband to all the family. Rose and John Anderson
Our most sincere condolences to all the family. We had some wonderful times together with Verna and Colin at rugby games and functions, corporate evening, through our work in the timber industry and of course when our horse Tanalised was racing. So many happy memories we will hold dear always. We are thinking of you all at this sad time and celebrating the wonderful rich and full life of family and friends that Verna enjoyed so much.
