I am deeply shocked to hear that John has passed. He was one of the first friends I made when I came here 14 years ago. He was just the most gentle soul. Condolences to his family and particularly Roxanne. So terribly sad after such a hard year and now particularly. RIP John, the sun will always be on your back. John was a lovely man, with a beautiful smile and a friendly word for everyone. He was a good friend and also a talented handyman having completed different jobs for us over the years. It was such a shock to hear the sad news and know that we will not be able to have our little chats up the street or hear his special laughter again. John will definitely be missed by our family.
