Val passed away peacefully at Maryann hospital, Stratford on Thursday 6th January, aged 83 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Tom. Loved mum of Mary Scholtens and the late John Luxton, Paul Gibson and Ali Bradshaw, Ava Gibson and Simon Roughton, Dave Gibson, Richard Gibson and Kirsten Todd, and the late Irènè Gibson. Grandma to Ed, Thomas, Alix, Kara, Elise, and Sam. Loved sister and aunt to her Australian family, Colin and Glenice Graves, Albert and Pam Graves, the late Glen, and Judith and Debra. Friends are invited to a Requiem Mass for Val at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Stratford commencing at 11am, Monday 10th January 2022, followed by her burial at Kaponga cemetery. A vaccine pass is required to be shown on entry to the church.
