Just heard about Jack Stack’s passing last year. I and my family are saddened to learn of this. My sincere condolences Pauline and Helen who was my girlfriend in Australia so many years ago. Pauline, Bernard and family, Haven't seen much of you in the past forty years - I went away to varsity (and all that) and haven't returned to Taranaki in years. I long remember Joe telling me a lunch at your place (in 1973) that if I held my nose, I wouldn't be able to taste the pumpkin I wasn't overly fond of. :) I remember the verandah at that farmhouse very well - and that bridge across the Waitara River on the way to your place. Not seen Pauline or Joe since your cousin Frank (my grandfather's) funeral in 1992 in NP. I found out about Joe's passing only last night. Someone misidentified him - I did a bit of digging and cleared up the "mistake." From your cousin "Jack Stack" 's family - deepest condolences and every good wish.
