Peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Wednesday 19 January 2022 aged 89 years.
Dearly loved husband of Elsa (nee Julian) for 67 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Ronald, Pauline and Dawson Lewis, Stephen and Kathy. Adored Grandad of Darren, Cynthia, Sarah; Mark, Rachel and Great Grandad of Lachlan, Campbell, Sienna, and Henry. Loved brother of Margaret Poletti (dec), and George.

A service to celebrate Frederick’s life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth on Tuesday 25 January 2022 at 10.30am
Vaccine passes will be required. For those unable to attend, Frederick’s funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page.

Very sorry to read the loss of Fred, I remember him fondly from Thornleigh Park His understated humour, gentleness and kindness. Elsa and family are in my thoughts.
