Auntie Carl, I have fond memories of you always being cheerful and smiling when I was a young lad staying with you and Uncle Jack, Michael and Shane at Tokoroa and Hamilton. They were happy times for my brother and I. You will always be in my heart. RIP Auntie Carl, PS say hi to Uncle Jack for me.

So sorry to hear about Carl Maureen. l feel for you coping with everything with her boys being so faraway. My memories of the Beard girls goes back along way........primary school days & our visits to Peepoday, l would always get car sick on the way there & back! I seem to remember your family calling in on your way home from town, time to go home & Carl would be hiding under the bed!, she would want to stay with our Lorraine.....I remember too staying at your place, being put to bed & then we would get out & play hide & seek out on the lawn in between the rose gardens, then there would be shouts from your Grandmother Marnie from the verandah! Janet and I offer our condolences for you all on Carlyle’s death No doubt many memories will be re surfacing. Naturally whilst in later years we had little contact I still remember her at Bluff Rd School for a short while. Unfortunately its life, remember the good times
