Bye uncle Jack...so many fond childhood memories of when our families would get together in Foxton.
To have known you was a privilege grandpa Jack to hear of your passing was a shock but I know you will be at peace thankyou for all the memories you shared with me forever you will be in my heart xox
We enjoyed our times we caught up with Jack. So sorry to hear off his passing. Sympathy to all the family.
To our dear friend Jack, When we decided to visit your beautiful country with one of your sons, Rodger, both you and Pat welcomed us with open arms and looked after us like we were family. Our memories of you, Pat and the family, are of love, closeness, joy, laughter and fun times. We felt like one of your own by the time we flew home and took with us life-long memories of your kindness, good nature, sense of humor and the importance of family to you. Our lives have been enriched by meeting you and your family and we have gone on to develop a very close bond and lifetime friendship with Rodger, his wife Merryl and their children. It was a pleasure to experience your sense of humour, your cheekiness, your generosity and particularly that roguish smile which completely set off your perfectly manicured moustache. A debonair and proud gentleman. You can rest now Jack knowing that you have raised an amazing family, who will live on proudly in your memory. And although Rodger cannot be with all your family, please know we have embraced him now in our family, just as you did for us, and we will ensure he has all the support he needs. To our kiwi cousins John, Chris, Rodger, Jacqui and all their families we extend our heartfelt sympathy to you all. Jack will be missed by everyone who ever had the privilege of sharing life’s journey with him. May you Rest in Peace dear friend. Kim and Peg
