A beautiful women who lived with Her big heart upon Her sleeve. She valued and spread humour and loyalty. She was a treasure in our small community a person of big light and presence. Generous, truthful and humble, Hine’ has left positive impressions on more people than She might realise. She was creative, talented and present. Truly a star in my world. I will always think of Her in inspiration. Thanks Hine’, Michael.
Our sincere condolences to you Stu, Julia, Erana, Ben and Adam I moved to Kaipara flats some 25 years ago meeting and becoming friends with Ben and his wonderful family then. Hine was a very genuine, kind lady with whom I can recall Hine's laugh even today, she really laughed whole heartedly, there was no denying it! Whenever I visited Ben's household the Gregory's always made you feel welcome, they were tremendously generous with food always offering something to eat at whatever time of the day or night. Spending many hours at the Gregory's home visiting Ben in our 20s but having moved away from Kaipara and NZ we have drifted apart but will cherish those great times and memories forever, they certainly were the good old days to me. We were sorry to hear of your passing Hine. As close neighbours and friends and with Stu being our faithful farm worker for many years you and your family were very much part of our life in Kaipara Flats. Because you and Stu were such enthusiastic participants in the community you often feature in our happy memories and recollections of time on the farm at Kaipara Flats. We regret that because of Neil's health we are unable to come and farewell you in person but you, Stu and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Sandra & Neill Olliff

Oh Hine! You and your beautiful family always made me feel so welcome at your home when I was a kid - thank so much for that gift. Then as a teen I was never sure when that Holden was coming towards me if there was actually a driver - but at the last minute I’d steal a glimpse of you peering through the steering wheel!!! So much love to Stu, Erana, Julia, Ben Adam and your families at this time. Xxxx
My sincerest of condolences to Hine’s whanau. What a massive loss. Hime always welcomes all with a smile and a story. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Hine, you may have been small in stature but you were a huge personality that touched many lives. Your sense of humour brightened many a day! You were the Queen of the Golden Holden! Driving to work with you was always an adventure! As a neighbour our families spent many a good time together and there was always a cup of tea to be had any time with you and Stu! Sending all our love to Stu and family on this very sad occasion!
