Dear Tracey, Lianne, Lisa and families, We wish to extend to you all our deepest sympathy following Ron's passing and share in your sadness as you remember your loving father, father-in-law and Pop. He gave so much to the Okato community and was a great neighbour to us on Lower Pitone Road, Ron was truly a lovely man. He is now at rest with Lois, and you are all left with many great memories of times spent together. May these memories become your treasures and help you during sad times now and in the future. Dear Tracey Lianne Lisa and your families, So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I was invited to spend school holidays with Ron and Lois as a 15 year old in 1962. Ron was such a wonderful person who helped me in my progress as a young adult and to nurture my love of farming. As the years passed and I was in distant locations, I was always welcomed back by Ron and Lois. Later Ron and I enjoyed standing on north bank of Rugby Park while watching Taranaki play the Boks. RIP Ron, you and Lois will never be forgotten. Dave Collie

So sad that Ron has passed away - an end of an era. I have so many happy memories of overseas holidays that we shared with Lois & Ron - in particular the many bare-boat yachting charters. Ron was always unanimously voted to be our skipper and I always marveled at the manner in which he remained calm in many really 'tight' situations. R.I.P Ron. Sincere sympathy to Tracy Lianne Lisa and Families. Marie Wellington

Our deepest sympathy to all family and friends. We had a wonderful holiday in South America with Ron and Lois about 15 years ago. Ron was the gentleman with a dry sense of humour. We also loved catching up with this delightful couple at Yarrows Stadium each year, as we cheered on the Taranaki Rugby team. May they rest in peace. Kevin & Marianne.
