MURRAY, Beverly Margaret (nee Aitchison).
Passed away peacefully at Summerset Falls Village, Warkworth, on 26 February 2022, aged 91 years.
Loved wife of the late John Murray. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Jude; Kay and Malcolm; Warwick and Yvonne; and Philip and Lynne; and Karen. Loved grandmother of Scott, Gillian, Richard, Alice, Lizzie, the late Cameron, Rachel, Sam, Kate, Thomas, and Charlie. Also a much loved great grandmother to her eleven great grandchildren.
Thank you to the dedicated team at Summerset Falls Village for the great care they gave Beverly in her last days.
A service for Beverly was held at the Mahurangi Presbyterian Church, Pulham Road, Warkworth on Friday 4 March at 1:30pm.
As there was an interruption to the live stream of the service - backup video footage has now been retrieved and processed for viewing. I watched Bev’s loving sendoff this afternoon. It is many years since we last met and I really enjoyed the photographic catch-up. I always enjoyed hearing of her exploits and considered her another one of the Aitchison “stroppy tarts”. That, of course,is a compliment. Loved seeing her as a tot with Granny and the photo of Auntie Dorothy and Lestock, great favourites of mine. Kind regards to you all, Barbara Kane
