We are very sad to announce the passing of Isabella Thomson, aged 96 at Bethany Hill Dementia Care on the 22nd of February 2022.

She was the much loved Mother of Stephen, Lindsey and Sheila.

In Whangarei, Mum was a keen member of the Gardening Club, Walking Club and also volunteered at the Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Mum was born in Scotland and then immigrated to Canada where she met her late Husband David (Dad). Dad had always wanted to go to New Zealand but the only option was Canada at that time. They finally immigrated to New Zealand in 1969 with their 3 children. They initially lived in Kaitaia, then Auckland and finally Whangarei where they were very happy. It was the best years of their lives.

A private cremation has been held.
