Zehnder Kathleen Margaret (Kath) (formerly Napflin, nee Kuriger) Passed away peacefully at 90 years of age at the Hawera Hospital on Tuesday 8th March 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Ted and the late Joe. Much loved mum and mum in law of Peter, Annette and Junior, Pauline and Garry, John, and their families. Loved nana Kath of her 11 grandchildren 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Loved companion of Alf Bocock. A celebration of Kath’s life will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Kaponga commencing at 11am on Thursday 10th March 2022, after which she will be laid to rest at the Kaponga cemetery. Vaccine passes are required for this funeral, and will be limited to 100 people. Kath’s funeral will be livestreamed via her tribute page at www.hardingsfunerals.co.nz/tributes

So sorry to hear of Kath's passing. She was a valued member of the Hawera Contract Bridge Club for many years. Thinking of you all at this sad time.
So many years ago now but I haven’t forgotten our neighbourly and schoolyard connections. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Mum, Kath, but I also know that you will be comforted by a long life of endless lasting memories. My warm regards and sincere condolences go out to you all.

I feel so blessed that I was able to spend time with Kath, John & Pete a few years ago. To me, she had never changed. She was still the lovely lady I remembered as a teenager. A real lovely lady. All my love & sincere condolences to Pete, Annette, Pauline, John and their families. Your Mum will now be at peace once again with her beloved 1st love Ted.
