I called her Mum Licia and her husband Jimmy I call him Dad. Thats how much they mean to me and my special name for both of them is “The Young Ones”. From the very first moment I met her over 4 years ago ; I felt as if I belonged as part of her family. Watching them having coffee and biscuits every morning at 10.00am and calling each other darling reaffirmed to me that loving each other and having family is still the most important assets in this life. Helping them with cleaning jobs in their home was a saving grace for me and it was not just about the money but I believe that the Lord used that special time for His glory. Mum Licia had this amazing warmth, caring love about her and always dressed like royalty and had a very sharp mind. She would sometimes talk to me in Portuguese and then laugh to her heart’s content forgetting that I don’t speak the language at all. Then she would let Patricia translate to me that she was not saying anything bad. I just took it as a sign that she was so comfortable having me around. I will miss her dearly - to Dad , Tony , Patricia , Cristy , Brendon , Isabella , Jackson and all the extended families overseas allow me to celebrate Mum Lucia’s adventurous life by sharing this Bible verse in Romans 14v 8 : if we live we live for the Lord and if we die , we die for the Lord , so whether we live or die , we belong to the Lord Amen

Christy and Tony, I'm so happy and blessed that I had a few visits to Cawood when I did years ago and have fond memories of my time there with your Mum and Dad, yourselves, and my great uncle Owen, and of course, Clive. You're blessed to have spent such great times with your parents. John, thank you for those times with you and Licia. It's so wonderful that I get a chance to see my cousins on this live stream pay such great tribute to your mum. Thank you for bringing this to us who are so far away. Lícia, pessoa maravilhosa ! Não gostava do Dona ou Senhora. Sempre alegre e disposta. Hoje habita na morada do Senhor, mas enquanto esteve aqui na Terra , soube cativar a todos com sua simpatia.
