To the Clendon family Our thoughts are very much with you - especially today as you have been celebrating Tom’s life. It was a privilege to be at Canaan Downs on Easter Sunday and be able to walk the M86A course with Jill & Penny in memory of Tom. What a special way to remember all his years of orienteering. Our sympathy to you all Chris & Norm Jager
Our deepest sympathy to the Clendon family. Tom was a role model for me in the art of aging gracefully. We will greatly miss him - and his wine - when we visit Nelson. We are sorry we cannot be with you at this time. Love from Jim and Erin, Vancouver BC

To all the Clendom family, My love and thoughts go out to you all. A tragic way to lose such a wondeful man, and a dear friend of mine of nearly 50 yrs. I will treasure the memories of our days in Johnsonville, as our children all grew up together. Many happy days spent with Heather and Tom on our NAC trips away. Love and deepest sympathy to you all Val Lincon
Dear Heather So very sorry to hear ( in the Herald today ) of Tom's passing following a cycle accident. I can only imagine the awful shock it must have been for you and your family. You may have heard that Maurice passed away last Christmas day and I find coming to grips with this single life is both practically and emotionally challenging despite the support of friends and family. There has been plenty of tears. I have been reflecting on the fun we all had during our orienteering days and especially our trip to Spain in 1996. My trip scrapbook contains quite a few photos with you and Tom in them. This comes with my deepest sympathy at this sad time. Much love and hugs to you and your family. Christine Penney
