So sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. We will always remember her warmth and sweet smile…
To Marie's family, Mark, Jonathon and Andrea. We are so sad to hear of Marie's death and our condolences go out to her family. We have known Marie and Brad for more years than we care to remember and have always valued their friendship. Brian vividly remembers, in earlier days, the times we visited the farm when our families were young and instead of Marie going out to milk as she usually did in the evening, Brian would done gumboots and suitable clothes and go and help Brad with the milking/s while Barbara and Marie shared laughs, recipes and sewing tips and then a meal, for us all, together. Toastmistress evenings were another shared joy when we also caught up with our many friends. After retirement, we have enjoy our time together when visiting in New Plymouth. Marie was a real contributer to the Stratford (and wider) community and shared her joy of living with all. It was our priviledge to be amongst her and Brad's friends. Rest in peace, Marie
My huge condolences to Andrea, Mark, Johnathon and their families. Marie was a great friend and we shared many wonderful experiences – family meals at each other’s homes, creating the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, attending the Stratford Writers Club, as well as poetry and writing workshops, working at Douglas community events, and more recently, discussing life over cups of tea. She was always full of energy and enthusiasm for everything life offered. I will miss her greatly.
Marie brought Europe, poetry and laughter into our lives. I will cherish memories of her huge smile, welcoming home, rippling laugh and enthusiasm for life and adventure. Josephine Fullerton-Coles

My wonderful sister-in-law has suddenly gone. No more chats and chuckles for us. We shared so much together - a love of shopping, dining out, books, travel and crosswords. She was my "go to guru" for crochet and recipes. I will miss you forever dearest Marie. Love Mim
Condolences to Marie's and Brad's family. Such a shock to know Marie has passed and too young. I enjoyed their friendship and kindness for a short time, being Brad's Caregiver until he went into Care. Marie will be so missed by many. I hope her many Xmas treasures will remain with family.
