We could not attend Shirley’s funeral so have watched the video. Such a touching ceremony for a special lady.

To David and family. Not sure what to say in the face of such a sudden loss. Just want you to know that we are thinking about you and share in your sadness. Shirley made us very welcome when we visited your home in Rotorua in 2008 and will now miss her visits to Wales.

Shirl was an inspiration at the gym. I can only imagine how bereft her family are feeling right now. She was taken too soon. The angels must have been getting a bit fat and Shirley is up there now putting them through their paces. Condolences and love from Diane

I was lucky enough to grow up next door to the Parry's. Shirley and Dave were always kind and welcoming and let us all pretty much riot through their home most of the time. It was a real privilege to have the Parry's as part of my childhood, teenage years and now sporadically in adult life. Shirley was such a key to the success of the family, but I know you will all pull together and look after each other in her wake. Take care Parry whānau, do your Mum proud and rest in peace Shirley.
