To Pat and Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Our memories of Paul from shared times at Greyfriars remain very strong; of a loving family man who shared his Christian faith in all he did. His cheerfulness and willingness to help others marked him as a special man indeed. Pat we send you our love and hope to meet up soon. Whenever we the Bee Gees we will be thinking of you both. Was so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I met him 12 years ago on my first trip to New Zealand to visit with my aunt Sue, and meet my new extended kiwi family in Chris, Jono, Paul and Pat. Paul and Pat were so kind and loving to me during my visit and left a lasting impression, one that I've been reliving over the past few days since hearing the news. Sending my condolences and love, even from so far away.

We were so sad to hear of our dear friend Paul's passing. Such a caring, considerate, generous man, hugely devoted and immensely proud of his family. With his “where there’s a will there’s a way” attitude and his sheer determination Paul achieved at many levels in both his business and family life. How blessed we have been to have shared many years together with Paul, Pat, Christopher and Jonathan. There were lots of fun times and sharing of his stories over a glass of wine or two. It has been an honour Paul being a family friend, you were always so welcoming and happy to see us. You will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. Our heartfelt sympathy to Pat, Christopher, Jonathan, Sue and family. Steve and Dallas, Graham, David, and Diana

I’ve known Paul, my cousin-in-law, since he and Pat starting courting. Although I’ve been 12,000 miles away for most of their married life, we have always kept in touch through letters, texts and more recently video calls and have fond memories of our visits to New Zealand when we stayed with them. We were welcomed as though we had never been apart. Our love and condolences to Pat, Jonathan, Christopher and family. Sorry we can’t be there with you at this sad time. Thank you Paul for looking after my Cuz all these years and being such a good husband and father. Your brave battle against this horrible disease is now over. You can now Rest in Peace. All our love San, John and family.
