David passed away peacefully in the early hours of Sunday morning at Waikato Hospital. Shirley was with him but he waited for her to doze off. David had spent the last three weeks in the Age Persons Rehabilitation Unit after collapsing at home and needed time to recover from a chest infection. The family would like to thank the staff at the unit for all the care they took of David in his last few weeks. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made to IHC.
A celebration of Davids Life will be held at Simply Funerals Chapel on Friday 22nd April at 11.00am
