So sorry to read that Ron has lost the battle. He was a good and principled man who held the community at heart. For a number of years Ron was a valued member of the Kairanga branch of the National Party. He was a man with common sense who could be relied on to get things done. My condolences to the family.

Very sad to hear of Ron's passing. I really enjoyed the time I worked with Ron at Works Civil Construction. He was always a gentlemen, very helpful to us ladies in the office but not past playing a prank or two on us which kept us on our toes.
