I never got to meet your mum, Leanne, but you kept me abreast of her comings and goings over the years. I know how important she was to you. Whenever we spoke or emailed, the question “how’s your mum doing?” was always posed by each of us. We shared our relief as our mums bypassed many common aging ailments, able to enjoy their lives and their families for so many years. Alas, time marches on and they leave us. Though no longer our companions, they are always in our hearts and our lives. You were a wonderful daughter to her. She’ll always be ‘mum’.

Maureen always greeted people so warmly & enjoyed to have a good laugh. We had many years of knowing & enjoying Maureens company & it was lovely to be able to share her 80th birthday last year. Fond memories live on. Love to Leanne & family ♥

Many memories of Maureen over the years being a kind thoughtful lady who loved a good sing a long and joke. Her late Mum was known to us as Aunty Bill and her jolly personality and lots of laughs were passed onto Maureen. Maureen has left an amazing thoughtful daughter and son in law both being very supportive. Thanks for fond memories from long ago. Mary and Richard Williams from Waikanae

Maureen was a kind and compassionate lady who liked to look after others. We will always be grateful for the kindness she showed to our uncle, her neighbour Sandy. Although we sadly never got to meet her in person, we enjoyed keeping in touch with her through telephone calls, letters and photos. She was a lovely person. RIP. Our sincere condolences to Leanne and Family. Janet & Nigel Dorling & Family in England.
