A lovely send off to a wonderful lady Aunty Ellen, sorry we couldn’t be there with you all to celebrate her life with you all. It was lovely reminiscing with all the lovely stories you told and remembering my stories of Aunty Ellen as well. She was always so enthralled hearing about my travels and where I had been and later on how my kids and family were. I use to love visiting Aunty Ellen in New Plymouth, going to her house and looking at all her treasures and playing lots of card games. Till we meet again Aunty Ellen with love Lisa, Shaun, Sophie, and Liam xx
A beautiful and touching service for dearest Auntie Ellen, thank you for this opportunity for us to share in the celebration of her life. I have many fond memories of Auntie Ellen when she spent time with us on her regular visits to Blenheim and when we would visit her in New Plymouth. The endless games of cards and her wonderful stories of when she was a child, the mischief she got up to and the tales of her life as a teacher. A bright, quick thinking, kind hearted person who showed such interest in my life and later in my children's. I'm so pleased we got to spend some time with her a few years ago on our way home from farewelling Nan-nan I can still feel her warm strong hug xx Until we meet again. Angela, Alice and Eddy
Aunty Ellen was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold that was kind, loving and would do anything for anyone. From her warm hugs to her laughter she she is definitely my favourite. I have two memories that stand out, I remember walking around the ocean walk way around New Plymouth with Grandma, Grandad, Aunty Ellen and her and I be miles ahead of the others and her looking at me saying we should slow down for these slow pokes and laughing. I also remember one Christmas at Aunty Shona’s not liking mussels as a kid but being sat down that the table with her and been told to eat 3 of them and by the 3rd I’d love them! and of course she was right. Thank you for all the years love and many more memories. Till I see you again for a warm embracing hug, Love Richard.❤️🌹xx
