RIL Betty.. I love that I have so many memories of you. From tricking you to try a new soap that my girls made (They didn't, sorry it was from a shop) but you would always get in the shower tontry their soap! haha Promising I'd have the paper and a hot drink ready when you returned to bed. You were always so welcoming. Always had a smile to share. And always told me you wouldn't remember me when I came back for dinner. That was until Mr Harris reminded you "She's pigtails Bet" ..You both have a special place in my heart. I rest knowing you are dancing with the love of your life, or running away screaming with laughter.. Warmest condolences to all of your family. Thinking of you all during this time.
Aunty Betty, We were fortunate to of been able to visit you in December before covid hit. I’ll never forget the emotion I felt at the time. I sat with you, held you close and held your hand, we had lots of laughs. I’m so glad I spent this this with you and the family. My early memories were in London when Dad,Mum,Janine and I would hop on a train to visit you in your house in Hounslow. It was a long journey in those days and felt like the countryside. We had lots of fun playing in your beautiful garden with Jane and Mark. Rest In Peace Aunty Betty and keep smiling With love Alison (Australia)
Hoping you had a comfortable journey on your Highway to Heaven, auntie Betty. See you on the 'other side', when the time is right. My best recent memory is going with you and Ernie and Mark to the Botanical Gardens in Christchurch for lunch. My best past past memory is eating the snap peas in your garden in Hounslow, UK,as a child, before you moved to NZ. Much love, your niece, Jacquie, UK.
