Dear Robert, At our last Christmas dinner you asked me to do away with calling you Uncle Robert. This is still a challenge for me. I have always looked up to you - your work, your life abroad, your cheerful outlook and cheeky jokes, your life as a tramper and explorer. I greatly appreciate all the moments you shared with me, the wisdom and lessons you passed on to me - and I can imagine you completely disagreeing with me saying you did nothing of the sort. Your humble attitude, and sincere appreciation of others did not go unnoticed. I will think of you often and fondly.
