"Such a beautiful service in remembrance of your life. You were truly and greatly loved by so many, and it is so sad to think you are no longer here on earth. Rest In Peace and know how much you are missed."
"Your big smile and welcome would light up the room, at family gatherings. Fly high, Charlie. Much love to Lisa and Charlie's family. "
"Fly high, Charlie. Will miss your quirky humour and warm hugs. Condolences to all your family, Lisa and friends. RIP"
"Uncle, I still can't believe I am writing a tribute because of your passing. Words cannot describe this difficult moment, but if this is the last time I get to say goodbye then I know I will do so with the knowledge that I consider myself blessed to have lived this life as your niece. I keep trying to think of a memory to share but there are too many, many memories that I will keep in my heart filed under "coolest favourite uncle" Say hi to Nana and Grandad and Uncle Don for me. Rest in love. Love you Uncle Charlie. Love Weeza (his name for me) ?? "
"I was working in a room without cell coverage so didn't get the message from my wife until I stepped out for a break. I had to read the message 4 or 5 times until I could make sense of it. Gone too soon my friend. I knew Charlie for around 20 years. We played Golf together, had some great times on Rakino together and I'll always remember the trip to Samoa! Charlie was larger than life. Always the life and soul of the party and great company. He had a wonderful sense of humour and we shared some good laughs together. He was Charlie Farlie, his Samoan name for me was fellafelloffasofa. Underneath the bold exterior was a gentle soul who loved life and people. He especially loved his family and children and was especially proud of his Dad's history. I will miss my friend. Fair winds and following seas Charlie. Much love. Martin. "
