"MEARNS, Ailsa Miro (formerly Moore, nee Baker). Died peacefully on 29 December 2018. Loved Mother of Jennifer and Russell and a beloved friend and family member to many. A service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil’s Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Saturday 5 January at 3.00pm followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Cystic Fibrosis NZ, PO Box 110 067, Auckland Hospital, Auckland 1148 or Harbour Hospice North Shore PO Box 331129, Takapuna 0740 would be appreciated."

"Hi. Am in Auckland this week and was going to catch up with your mum, but was told of her passing by her retirement village. I rung in Nov and told your mother of my mothrr may gallaghers passing on 12 oct. Your mother knew me from when I was in nappies at Murupara. Am sad for you all. Im sure however that our mothers are both at rest. Regards Bradley"
