"Shirley Copeland On 10th July at Lady Allum Resthome Milford in her 103rd year. Loved wife for 65 years of Ray (deceased), mother of Adrienne, Lorraine and David, and Ron and Michele. Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of thirteen and great-great grandmother of two. Mum, you and Dad gave us a great upbringing and values for life. After a long battle you are now at peace. Ray and Shirley were well-known on the North Shore as owners of Takapuna Mowers and Cycles in the 1950's to '60's. Special thanks to the staff of Nikau wing for their care and support shown to Mum over the past four years. Thanks to Shirley's many caregivers over the years. You were all special to Mum. A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road Albany on Saturday 14 July at 3pm followed by private cremation."
