To Lynley, Greg and your families. I have only just learned of Beverly's passing and extend to you, and you whanau our sympathy, love and prayers. Thank you for posting the service on line. It was a privilege to watch it and feel, in a sence that I was in the midst there with you. I have strong and vivid memories of meeting Doreen, Beverley and Sandra in the late 1960s. They worshipped at Holy Trinity Fitzroy which had a strong and vibrant youth ministry. 2a Beach Street was where we often gathered and under the watchful eye of Doreen had lots of fellowship, fun and gatherings. I have precious memories of Beverley and the care, warmth and loving way in which she embraced life and people. I give thanks for her life a day her faith. May she rest in peace with her Lord and God and may her family and love ones be sustained, guided and led by the God who sustained and nurtured her. My childhood memories are filled of your mum and Sandra. School holidays spent in New Plymouth at the beach street house. Waking up in the mornings to see surfers out catching waves, running down the grassy banks, dodging cutty grass to the beach below and burning our feet on the black sand😂. Saturday afternoons playing cards while listening to the horse racing on the radio and getting to drink coke a cola with chips and kiwi dip then going to church Sunday mornings are just some of my favourite memories. Then being out at the farm when you were just so little. Lunch was always such an amazing spread, going on the back of the farm bike with your dad and getting up early to help milk the cows. Your mum and Aunty Sandra were all we had for family growing up in NZ and I’m so very thankful to have had them both in my life♥️
