Our love to Nola and the family. 45 years ago I trotted up the stairs at Glen Alton Avenue and met Nola, Bill, Trevor and Susu the cat, 45 years of wonderful memories, Gin and Tonics, laughs, shared holidays, meals, mischief and mayhem. Our sympathy to Nola and the family on Bill's passing. Happy memories of Bucklands Beach Yacht Club days, working on the hardstand as part of the Haulout crew, lead by Commodore Bill. One Haulout Opening Day, Nola drove the tractor, decked out in flowing nightie and gumboots! Bill taught me how to park boats on trailers into tight corners, and retrieve and launch Len's big boat on the rails. A fine gentleman at rest. Barrie and Aileen Hart, Havelock North.
