Thank you to all those who have supported our family since Stephen's sudden passing on the 16th of May. We have been surrounded by food, flowers and love and feel so grateful to be a part of such a caring community. Special thanks to the Opunake St John Ambulance, Opunake Fire Brigade, and the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter personnel for your immediate response, The Opunake Lions Club for your Guard of Honour at Stephen's funeral service, Richard and Casey Eagar who made a tough day so much easier, and our Watino Road neighbours for your ongoing help. To all our family and friends who are helping us to get used to our new normal, thank you so much - we have many treasured memories of Stephen that will last a lifetime. Condolences to you Janet and family. A beautiful service for Steve today. From the first time we stepped on your farm Steve and Janet, you changed our farming journey forever. What a beautiful service, Steve would be stoked! It's been a privilege knowing Steve and you all. You were a massive part of our lives for 6 years on Watino Road. Steve always so cheeky and effervescent, not to mention the life of our shed parties :) We wish we had at least one more party with Steve and the Watino road crew, but the memories shared today were heart warming and bought it all back.
