I have some very happy memories of David. Always playing the joker! We had some lovely times during the school summer holidays in Didcot and Uxbridge. Such a kind and generous man. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He will be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts are with all of his family at this very sad time. Sending lots of Love Lesley xxx

What a lovely photo to remember you by. Sending warm hugs and kisses to you all. I remember staying with you and telling stories in the car. Just as we were getting into the story you would ask someone else to carry on. LOL. Great fun was had by everyone and all the parties. Love to you all from Judith and the the gang. Uncle Dave you and Auntie Vera played a big part in my early years, always the favourite Auntie and Uncle. You were always fun to be around a big character, big voice with a big laugh always the joker. I will always remember laughter. pipe smoking in which I chocked 😂I inhaled instead of puffing. Cricket and motor racing was one of your favourite sports to watch on tv and you loved a pint. So I think right now you will be up there in a comfy armchair with a pint in your hand watching some kind of sport. You will be greatly missed Uncle Dave I will raise a large glass to you, Thanks for being a Great Uncle. Love Sharon xx
