I met Nancy when she hired my mother, sister, good friend and me to work at the Kumon centre she was running back when I was in high school. Nancy will be remembered as an incredibly loving, caring, intelligent, strong and really funny lady. We all loved Nancy and will continue to love her through our memories together. Thank you, Nancy, for being you and for enriching our lives. May you rest in peace. We miss you, Nancy :*(
Aunt Nancy was the kind of person everyone strives to emulate one day. She was the embodiment of grace, compassion, and humility, so much so, that these attributes became synonymous with her image. I never looked forward to Thanksgiving as much as I did in those years that Aunt Nancy joined us. There was no conversation that couldn't be had, no topic left unvisited as we sat together around the dining room table. It was her easy cultivation of curiosity and excitement that made Thanksgiving and her visits such riveting and lovely affairs. Aunt Nancy's kindness, intelligence and giving nature were wells that never ran dry, and though it is true that she will be sorely missed, it is with great conviction that I know she will never be forgotten. We love you Aunt Nancy, rest easy.
I will always remember all the times you came to visit us at Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas. Always well dressed and brought a bottle of wine or your awesome cranberry sauce. Our great family conversations at the dinner table were awesome! Great food lots of laughs. You always showed interest in how the kids were doing at school and encouraged them. You may not be here any longer but you will forever remain in our hearts and we will meet again one day. I will always cherish the great times we shared with you!
I knew Nancy as my beloved step-mother from my father's second marriage. Nancy has alwasys treated me and my family with kindness and consideration. My two young daughters grew up to know and love their Aunt Nancy. Nancy was s bubbly, lively outgoing, intelligent spirit that loved spending time with family and friends. You could talk to Nancy about anything from baking and cooking, to politics and current events of the day - that's just one more thing I loved about Nancy. Nancy will be sorely missed by all of us. We know that Nancy had experienced some medical challenges towards the end of her life but, there is no more suffering. After living a long and wonderful life, Nancy has transitioned back to our Heavenly home to be with God.
