So sad to read of your loss. To Gail and the whole whanau, I am thinking of you healing thoughts that you may have peace in the happy memories of a life well lived. I was unable to come to the service today. I am in Wellington looking after granddaughters. Arohanui. Lyn
We will miss Uncle Jack. He was an integral part of the Wheeler /Morris family. Often wandering down for a chat. Always pottering around with something - planes included. I will miss our visits when we came back to NZ & our annual xmas e.mail with all the news. Our thoughts are with Gail, Leslie, Jill & all the family at this time.
I am one of Jacks cousins and my Father Stanley Lionel Russell was Jacks Mothers Brother and we lived in Brooklands Rd. We often visited Auntie Winnie and Uncle Burt, plus Thelma and Reg in Huatoki Rd and as Jack grew up I recall him building a tiger moth plane in his barn/shed. He was always keen to potter around. As I moved away from New Plymouth to work then serving overseas and now living overseas, I sadly lost touch with some family but the memories of visiting the Wheeler family in Huatoki Rd will never be forgotten. On behalf of my Sister Faye Magee, Brother Wayne our sincere condolences to all of Jacks family and may he Rest In Peace.
Sorry to read of Jack's passing. Our thoughts are with you all. From 1991 to 1995 our young family lived next door to Jack and Gail. Our 2yr old would often stand at the fence chatting to Jack who was building his shed He was always pottering in his shed we had many chats over the fence. Remember Jack fondly he bought grahams Suzuki alto to use it for a micolight we used to always laugh that Jack could fly by any moment. He's flying now. Love to you. Lois & graham goodman and the girls.
My thoughts are with you Leslie and your family. Cherish the great moments spent together. Take care, Gracie
