Your effect on my life has been profound, so far-reaching, that it is impossible to imagine how things would have been had we not met at that Essentially Men weekend all that time ago. Your kindness, support and guidance live with me still. For many years we shared our love of sailing and of boats. You were always the perfect crew - someone who could fix anything and always up for a new challenge. I will miss your easy smile, your sincerity, your modesty, your tears and your readiness always to be there when help was needed. Rest easy dear brother, your memory lives on in the hearts of so many whose lives you touched.

On this first anniversary of Ralph's passing, we have our lovely memories of the caring, smiley, naughty, helpful, funny man he was and the happiness he gave our dearest Jan. What a tough year (and longer) it has been for all those who loved him. Go well Ralph - chief coffee and bread maker, and genuine good all round bloke. Dearest Ralph, I miss you daily my friend, each time I look across the fence or go past your place. Warm, comfortable memories of coffees with you and Janice on your deck in the treetops, you playing guitar, cuddling Mitsie, your honest tears, your kindness towards us from the moment we became neighbours all those years ago. From our first meeting as teenagers our lives have paralleled each other with shared interests, and we grew up as friends and then as a much loved and missed btother-in-law. With a love of Citroens we always had an active interest in trialling, showing and events promoting the marque nationwide. Ralph you were a massive help and support to me personally and have left a huge hole in all our lives. With a heavy heart it's time for goodbyes. Rest easy my friend.
