Derek passed peacefully at North Shore hospital on Thursday 21st July with the love of his life 'Blondie' at his side.
Derek will be sadly missed by his wife Rose (Blondie), and daughter's Lisa, Tracy and Dee along with all of their families.
According to Derek's wishes, a private family service has been held.

There are no words but to thank you all for your prayers and words of comfort.
