We’re shocked to hear of Robs passing, so many of my enjoyable memories have Rob in them… there are occasional people in life who bind a group of people together… rob was one of those… he would drop in and out of my life and I’d feel better for having seen him. However, there is the time I had a knock at my door at 6 am on a Saturday, Rob needing a lift home, so I drove him, as we drove up to the house Joy comes storming down the drive with a stern look on her face, the drive way sloped, but she was really moving… I barely noticed rob cowering in the passenger seat , innocently I rolled down my window to say hello and she let me have it, full noise and finger waving … scolded me for keeping rob out all night. No good deed right.she said "what would you parents think if you stayed out all night", " i dont live at home".i said. The back story is, that at some point on Friday night rob had got a pizza from Shakely’s pizza parlor, left his wallet on the counter, the staff handed it over to the police, who rang joy. Who spent the night worrying about her son… then I drive up with rob in the car… I mentioned this to Gary, I don’t know what I was expecting, perhaps a bit of sympathy from him he simply said, “I wouldn’t have done it”..Its nice memory that makes me tear up and smile. Our condolences to the family Kari Reinikkala, Lyn Taylor
