My dear sister Dennise. I am heartbroken for you. You have lost a wonderful man, and we have lost a loved brother-in-law whom none of us will ever forget. I feel so sad for you and your family and I know you will not want to hear the words "time heals" as this is impossible to think of at this time. He will never be far from you and you have many memories to treasure as we have. Please remember I am here for you at any time. All my love and hugs. Rowena

Riki the man who always had a smile, always had time to stop and chat, we’d see him in invercargill in Dunedin in Christchurch there was always time for a chat and chew the fat, but mainly where there was coffee. Gone to soon, Gone to young. Dennise and family, Our prayers and thoughts are with you on this sad day. Phil & Elly Gilligan

So sorry to hear of Rikis passing. This is a tribute to Riki from the McCoy family in Ireland. We have great memories of been welcomed by Riki, Dennise, Cash and family to New Zealand. A very large group of McCoy's descended on your family and we were welcomed and entertained royally, we can remember fondly hunting for Taoroa's on Oreti Beach, mincing them up, and attending a magnificent barbecue in Invercargill. That was so much fun. Also I remember singing " She wrote me a letter" by Joe Cocker with Riki and acting the eejit with Riki and Denise. Been Irish of course there was no drink involved! We had some brilliant times and you guys were so welcoming and generous with you time. From Saoirses grandparents in Ireland.
