So grateful I was able to spend time with Jack, my 1st cousin, before lockdown. Everytime he would ask me who I was and I would tell him "Paula, Uncle Paul's daughter" and his face would light up with a smile. He told me little things about my family I hadn't known such as - it was Alan who played Santa at the big family Christmas held at Aunty Freda's in the Spey St house when I was 3 or 4 yrs old, and Uncle Billy brought 3 grandfather clocks over from Germany and gave the one Jack had in his room to his mum (my Aunty Freda). Jack always had a smile for me when, as a little kid, I would go into the kitchen of the Joncolin Restaurant. So many special memories. Rest in peace Jack Paula Ball (nee: Wesney)
