To Cassandra and Michael, Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the loss of a truly lovely and wonderful Mum, friend, sister, and aunty. We first met Jo in September 1998 at the Feilding Maternity Hospital when Michael and our eldest son Caleb were born. Jo was so encouraging and helpful in those first few weeks with a new baby, and we would often be in contact as she lived just around the corner from us. When our son was 10 months old he had major surgery in Wellington Hospital, and Jo was so supportive providing meals and baking during his recovery. In the first few years the boys had birthday parties together and it was always lovely to catch up with Jo even after we moved to Marton, and then on to Rangiora. It has been such a privelege to have known Jo, and we will miss her lovely smile and positive attitude to life, even through the tough times. Jason and Sandy Watson, Rangiora.
Id like to extend my love and condolences to Caz, Michael, family and friends. Your mother was an incredible woman and if I can support you in any way, I will. And to Jo, the world was certainly a better place with you in it. Rest in love xox

My condolences to Cassandra & Michael. I'm sure you know what an amazing woman your mother was and how she put up such an incredible fight against her illness, rarely complaining and remaining so caring about others. I will miss her but I'm also glad she is now at peace.
Jo, a very good friend from Kmart days. The smile in the photo above is how I remember Jo. Cheerful and caring, taking an interest in others even when so sick herself. Sending condolences to Cassandra and Michael. I will keep you in my prayers.
