McLEAN: Sylvia (Maud): Passed away peacefully at Kensington Court Rest Home on Saturday, 6 August 2022, aged 100 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Mason. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Warren Reid (Christchurch), Grant and the late Pam (Nelson) and Jenny and Craig Newport (Perth). Much loved nan to her seven grandchildren and great nan to fourteen great grandchildren.
A service to remember Maud will be held at the Methodist Church, 94 Neale Avenue, Stoke, Nelson on Saturday 13 August at 2.00pm. Messages can be sent to the McLean family C/- 164 Tahunanui Drive Nelson 7010 or left online at www.shoneandshirley.com/tributes. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St Johns Shuttle, Nelson and given at the service.

Lovely Aunt Maud, as she was known to me. My Dad, Ron was very fond of Maud and they always had a joyous time when they were together both with a twinkle in their eyes, up to mischief or telling a funny story. I have attached a special photo I took of them both about 6 years ago. My love and thoughts go out to you, her family, as I know how much she will have been treasured by you all and will be missed. She was a real character and as we know with the recent passing of our dear Dad that is very hard to replace. May God comfort you all at this time and give you peace and comfort. Arohanui Rochelle
