SIXTUS: Robert: Passed away peacefully at home, aged 66 years. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Christine. Much loved father and father in law of Nathan and Megan; Naomi; Kassandra and Matthew.
Loved stepfather of Jackie and Craig; Kerrie, Nicola and John. Treasured grandfather to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special brother to his treasured sister, Debbie.
According to Robert’s wishes, a private funeral service has been held but friends are invited to celebrate Robert’s life at the Motueka Hotel Lounge at 2pm on Thursday, 11 August.

Condolences to all the Sixtus family 66 is far too young !!. I have good memories of times spent with Robert in Motueka, Takaka ...and that magical place Canaan.
You will be Loved missed in dearly and if you see Lee up there and elf can you say hi for me you're always be with us in our hearts and walk Bayside usunseen and unheard
I am really going to miss you dad words cannot express how much you meant to us all life took you unexpectedly but I know in my heart that you are no longer suffering say hi to Nana, pops Uncle Pete and Aunty Heather will you oh and if you see Danny say hi to him as well love you always and forever Dad.
Thinking of you all! Hold onto those memories tight. A face so many will miss but never forget. I can still see him wondering around the Talley factory yard all those years ago. A good man that’s for sure. My sincere condolences to you and all your family. X
