Pat was one of my first clients when I joined Vision West over 7 years ago, as a Support Worker. I really enjoyed seeing Pat, both of us being English we had an instant connection, putting the world to rights made for very interesting conversation, we laughed alot, she was always interested in my family, as I with Pats family who she adored. I so admired Pat for her down to earth no nonsense approach to life, her confidence and honesty. Organised really impressed how Pat was so organised, she was meticulous with all her dates for appointments etc. It was a big shock to hear that Pat had passed away, I will treasure the memories of my time with Pat, God Bless Pat will miss you Pam Lukaszewicz
It was my privilege to get to know Pat as a member of our church community and to visit her with Holy Communion when she could no longer attend Mass on a Sunday. I was shocked and saddened by the news of her death. I am sure she will be rewarded for all the time and work she did for school and parish communities. I am sure her friends in Auckland have been missing her. I extend my deepest sympathy to all of her family. She will be remembered in my prayers.
It was an honour to have Pat become part of my family in New Plymouth for the past 8 months, I enjoyed her visits with Joanne when she was on an outing from the rest home and being able to take her to appointments when Joanne was working. Rest In Peace Pat, you were a strong lady & will be greatly missed. Bella will miss your pats. Lorraine Hughes.
