Born 02 November 1939 Passed away peacefully at North Shore Hospital with her boys at her side on Thursday morning . Aged 82
Devoted wife of Brian for over 59 years, proud Mum and Gran to David and Melissa, Neil and Delia, Lena and Laura, Olivia, Gabrielle, Gemma and families.
Sister and Sister in law to Eileen and Ron, Franklin and Jennifer and Rex and Marlene.

Deirdre’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday 24th August at 10.30am at The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. A live stream of Deirdre's service will be available at www.dils.co.nz/s/deirdre Tributes to Deirdre can be made at the same place.

Sincere condolences to the family of Deirdre and especially to her sister Eileen, and Ron from Bert Sutcliffe Village. We will miss her smile and cooking on the 5th Floor Wallace and Reid...particularly her neighbour opposite....... Frances. Farewell Deirdre from Pamela Crossman and on behalf of Frances Reed.
We were profoundly saddened to hear the news of Deidres passing. Both Brian and Deidre have been wonderful neighbours and we will miss their friendship. Deidre was a fabulous cook and we enjoyed many delicious treats that she prepared and shared with us on the 5th floor of the Wallace Building. She was a lot of fun to be around and we so enjoyed her company. Deidre will be dearly missed by us and we send our deepest condolences to the family.
